can you start and end the clip at normal speed but ramp it down to slow motion in the middle so the viewers can see it's the same clip.

That's a really interesting question James, my thought are that you have a licence to put the music on DVD which you have done. If the client uploads the clip to their vimeo, youtube, Facebook...

no, it's the other way around, regardless of the fact that I am in Australia and have an APRA/AMCOS licence I am hosting videos on a US site and have to comply with US law - they don't give a rats...

Any licencing you have for a particular country doesn't apply if you host your videos on a US server, maybe there's a local alternative

I believe you will have the same problem with vimeo that you do with youtube - playing the music that the studio used on the day will get your content flagged quickly and you'll spend way too much...

try starnow or casting networks - you'll have to look up the US version as I'm in AUS. Starnow is more amateur and casting networks actors will usually have agents.
