Check to see if you have the latest version of...

Check to see if you have the latest version of VLC.... its up to 8.6D and that may be the reason your's isn't playing them...

if so, you can bring the footage into premiere and export via multimedia selection there....

at least thats how I did...

Another possible way is to seperate the audio from the video then export the audio only and have it place the audio into the source bucket....
that way you don't have to have the original audio...
