Re: New Firmware - Is it coming? If so, when?
Much like many of you here I'd love to see some tweaks. It would be awesome if 1080/50p could be squeezed out of the C300 just because a lot of my work is shot at 50p and I'd really like to be able...

Re: Sony EX1 & Accessories
Hi Gabor
Yes they both charge fully. On both batteries, the little buttons that you press to test charge level have slight cracks in the membrane, this also happened on all my other BPU's so I...

Re: .mxf footage in FCPX running Mountain Lion
I guess it really depends on what you work on. If you're doing weddings then it's going to be practical to archive projects on cheap drives because you're shots are likely to only be used for that...

Re: .mxf footage in FCPX running Mountain Lion
The main advantage is that you can edit directly from the source media files rather than creating a duplicate set of media that uses up valuable storage space. After using Premiere for a year or so I...

Re: Bag for C300
Just once on a small flight to Guernsey, I don't have a clue what the plane was I'm afraid but it did fit.
The thinkTank bags are great, I really like the fact that it locks shut and that there's...

Re: New Eos C100 Camera with Auto Iris
Hi Nigel
It is only one cable, presumably because only audio needs to be transferred whereas the C300 also needs to deal with video for the LCD. The second input in the C100 is a 3.5mm mic jack.

Re: C300 Extended Warranty
I just checked on the CPS site and it's my membership that lasts a year, not specifically the C300 so ignore that.

C300 Extended Warranty

Re: Grip Aperature/Gain Setting Question
That's a pretty good idea, especially as the magnify feature on the C300 is a waste of space. I miss the magnification and movement from the 5D, the zoom level is almost pointless on the C300 and...

Re: 17-55mm Canon lens + Formatt Filters = avoid
Fair comment, I should have said "can cause vignetting without filters". I tried two different versions of the lens with the same results on my C300. I'd be very shocked if there's variations like...
