Re: UWOL41 Life on repeat by Trond Saetre

I really liked the use of the theme - your VO made sense of the visuals and there was a story there. Some really nice forrest footage.

Re: UWOL 41 - Repeat Please, - by Paul Wood

I agree with Mark, you completed UWOL 41 - that's as much as any of us did. I didn't get the theme till I read your post, I actually thought the repetition the didn't work was the patterns, logs &...

Re: UWOL 41 - Illusions

Jim critiqued his own which is a great idea.

I think my concept and VO were okay but the visuals let me down,
the grass shot should have been done on a slider to give a smoother shot. The spider...

Re: UWOL 41 - Rain

I must admit I thought it was a POV of someone going to the loo in the early morning at first! You could have boosted your VO as I couldn't really hear that clearly.

You're in the same boat as me...

Re: UWOL#41 - End of an Era by Andrew Hood

This is an interesting use of the theme, something that is not only being repeated in your area but in so many regions in Australia & the USA. I didn't mind the music but I tend to prefer it at a...

Re: UWOL41 - Snow-Cold-Blow-Repeat by Gordon Hoffman

Just once I'd like to spend a Christmas looking at scenery like that - it's usually so bloody hot here. I see your theme of repetition in the weather patterns and it ties together well. The scenery...

Re: UWOL 41 - Tales of wonders and woes

uploading mine now - it was such a rush/poor job that I wasn't going to but I decided to do it more for me than anything - rather than find an excuse not to.

Re: Uwol 41 Shark tank

I almost got there! - I had a good idea for the theme but left it till the last minute and ended up with a 1.5 minute clip with some very average footage - still thats an improvement for me - I'll be...

Re: FZ2500 Impressions and Comments?

I've used this on a couple of weddings but not overly impressed, it just seems slower to respond than the 1000, there's no auto focus on the variable frame rate and the video button seems ever harder...

Re: UWOL 41 - Tales of wonders and woes

I actually had a reasonable idea this time - it's just a matter of getting out and shooting - my new FZ-2500 arrived yesterday so I'll use that.

Re: Can/Should I Offer Wedding Video and Corporate Video on the Same Site?

do you have to build a new site? - why not set your weddings up as separate pages and simply buy a wedding domain name and redirect to those pages

Re: Do My Wedding Packages Make Sense?

Hi Brock,

your packages seem to make sense but I wonder if you might be better bringing the numbers down - $950 rather than $1000, $2450 instead of $2500 etc. It's been a long standing marketing...

Re: "Save the Day" PSA from Joss Whedon

"nobody look at bob" amazing stuff - it looked like a lot of fun, with a killer message at the end.

When you say very quickly, just how much time did you spend in pre-production?
