"Save the Day" PSA from Joss Whedon
I had the fortune of being asked to shoot this clip as part of savetheday.org's mission to bring voter awareness. This clip is not about either presidential candidate but aimed at reminding voters that who they put in Congress is very important also. The production came together VERY quickly and with a fairly small crew. Two Arri Amiras, lighting package was 2 Skypanels, 2 Joker 800's and a selection of Litemats.

"nobody look at bob" amazing stuff - it looked like a lot of fun, with a killer message at the end.
When you say very quickly, just how much time did you spend in pre-production? |

Re: "Save the Day" PSA from Joss Whedon
I got hired on Wednesday afternoon, we scouted the location mid-day Thursday and we shot on Saturday. That gave us just over one business day to build, negotiate, check out and load the equipment packages. I started putting crew on hold on Wednesday but didn't lock down the final crew member until Friday night, literally minutes before the call sheets went out. Not necessarily the shortest turnound I've had but it was tight!
