Adding Text/Logos at DVinfo.net

Hey Gals & Guys,

I am about to produce a video and put it up free on the web. To keep others from taking my video throwing their logos all over it and attempting to re-distribute it I want to either add Text that is transparent to the video or even a logo.

How do I do the transparent text idea, or even a logo/transparent logo?

Thanks for letting me know what I want to do is called "watermarking"
