Any way to change at DVinfo.net

In Vegas 7 is there anyway to work on mt2 files and do all the work than save teh project and open it on another system but substitute the mt2 files for convereted cineform avi files?

My problem is this I have one system that plays mt2 previews nicely but stutters badly on cineform files, and I often work on that system to do main editing than do the rendering on another system, however that other system stutters badly on mt2 files and plays cineform files beautifully so I would want the same project to work on or render but substitute the files from "same name.mt2" to "same name.avi" Since no one seems to have any answers why the previews stutter so badly on the different systems.
