Vegas Color Correction and HDV
Ok, I'm inches away from getting Vegas 7.0, but I was just curious: How good does the Sony (Vegas) Color Corrector work with HDV footage? Thanks.

The same...
In my experience it's been the same as regular old Mini DV, just tons more resolution to work with.

Hi,
It works as well as with DV, but obviously the rendering is much slower due to the increased resolution. Using color filters (or any other heavy post processing on video) with HDV footage is a good reason to upgrade to the fastest system you can afford, if you have not done it already... Regards, Christian
