HD-QT codec to send to FCP

I'm currently burning Data DVDs of a few minutes of footage to send to one of the project's camera ops, he works on FCP. Footage is 720/60p and needs to stay that way.

I got some good advice that the QT animation codec is lossless and extremely compatible, and good for short clips. It's looking like 2+GB/minute.

Any suggestions on a minimally lossy intermediate HD codec to send longer pieces from Vegas to FCP? Should I be getting him into the Cineform Neo Player Mac beta? Kinda' hate to suggest beta software to him... I'm hoping there is a stock QT codec that would work well for this.
