Template with Cineform

Hi
I just rendered M2t files to 72024p Cineform Intermediate and don`t know how to fill the template in project properties.
There is no template option for Cineform Intermediate 720 24p to combine with my new rendered media..
Thanks
Ron

Hello
No response. I can`t understand.
Shouldn`t my Cineform Intermediate 720 24p files match with the template in project properties?

Hi Ron,
Hopefully I can help a bit. The Vegas Project Properties do not reflect a particular codec, only the resolution, framerate, field order, PAR, audio rates etc, etc that you want to work in. Generally these are the same as the source media.

Just open Proj. Prop. window and pick a close template, then modify it to your needs (I think there may even be one already - I don't know as I don't use 720 24p)
For starters you want:
Resolution: 1280x720
Frame rate: 24 or 23.976 (or whatever)
Field order: None (progressive)
Pixal aspect ratio: Square

HTH,
Kyle

Thank you Kyle
You mean I shouldn`t care about the template "name", so I could fill it with, for example HDV 720 24p, even if my files now are Cineform intermediate.
Best regards
Ron

Yeah, that should do it. As long as the specs in the template are what you want all should be well. It is a template for HDV, but the CF files are the same framerate, res, PAR, etc.

Cheers.
