Dual Layer burning problem

I'm having an issue with DVD Architect 4b when burning a dual layer DVD+R disk (using Memorex media). (side note: single layer +R are working just fine). I created my project and added my content and went through the burn process. It hung out at 8% burn & 8% making DVD for about an hour and then said it was done. Looking at the disk, very little appears to have been written and the PC still thinks it's a blank DVD. I tried a reburn using what it produced earlier and it made it to 89% before saying it was done, but the disk was still essentially empty. (the whole project is about 2 hours of video). I got some DVD-R dual layers, but with those, Architect won't go beyond 0% complete.

Has anyone had a problem like this?

Single layer disks are working fine, but the video (our wedding) is too long for single layer and I'd rather not have it on two disks unless I absolutely have to. (more my wifes preference than mine).

Thanks in advance,

Steve

As a note to this, I took the architect output files and burned them successfully using Nero 7 Recode onto both the DVD+R & -R disks. Both work perfectly. I'm unsure why Architect is unable to properly write out these disks. At least I have a working solution..
