Hang on Vegas startup
Little help please!
Yesterday Vegas worked fine and nothing has changed in my setup since. Today, however, when I fire Vegas up it goes through the startup process then hangs on 'Initializing Audio Engine'. I have reinstalled Vegas (7.0d) and the audio drivers (for an Edirol UA-25), to no avail. Windows Media Player works fine, as does After Effects. Any thoughts? Cheers. Ian . . . |

BTW, I have also tried the Ctrl-Shift on startup to reset Vegas to factory settings but same result.

Well, as a last resort I decided to uninstall then reinstall Vegas. That seems to have got me past the start up hang but now I've lost all my preferences! BLAST!
Don't suppose there's any way to recover them? |
