track colors in vegas 7
Hi folks, I wondered if there's a way to change the background color of the video tracks in vegas. I like to divide my clips on different tracks for my rough edits, and it would be nice to see the video tracks different colors, and the audio tracks different from those.
I mean how much gray can a person take??? Thanks, Milt |

if v7 is the same as 6 then no you can't change the background of the timeline BUT you can change the track media itself.
If you right click on the track header and goto track display color you can change the color the media presents on the track but not the actual background color. Don |

Yea, I've done the track media color change, and that's OK, but it only really has an effect when select that specific piece of video.
I don't think engineers really understand how useful color can be for organizing files, materials or anything else. Oh well.... Thanks anyway! Milt |
