fs-4 footage not rendering in vegas at DVinfo.net

I recently started using the fs-4 hard drive to record with my canon xl2.

The record process works fine. I can transfer the footage into the vegas 7 program, edit the foorage and preview what I have Edited.

The problem begins when I start the rendering phase that all that will render is white screen. If I put in a title page or credits those render fine there is just no footage from the fs-4.

Is there somthing I am doing wrong or is the fs-4 not compatible with this NLE.

Any advise will helpful

Will the firestore fs-4 work with vegas 7 and if it will what format do I need to record in?

I'll bump this as well Eric, as I am interested in buying the FS4 (also for use with an XL2 and Vegas 7).

Could you post your Vegas project and render settings? Also perhaps it would help to see the properties of the media itself (as Vegas sees it and as you are recording it on the Firestore). I'm wondering whether your combination of the format you're recording in coupled with the project and render settings are causing your problem, rather than something more showstopping with the FS4 and Vegas.

I'm sure there must be another FS4 user here! If not, maybe you could ask the question in the XL2 forum?
