Vegas workflow for the Sony V1E/25p

There is no 1080-25p template in Vegas 7.0d, but since the V1E 25p output is really written in fields, I'm using the 1080-50i one. However, when I want to export as 1080/25p MPEG-2, I have a bigger problem. It's not enough to replace the frame rate in the closest thing - the Blue Print 1080-24p template - with 25.000; when I do, there always is an error message after rendering some 200 frames and rendering stops.

The same process works fine with Premiere Pro, so it can be done. However, I'd appreciate if somebody gave me a hint on what should be done in the advanced settings of a custom template for Vegas. TIA!

I'm bumping this thread up, as nobody seems to have noticed it...In the meantime, I found a configuration for the Blue Print 1080/25 template; however, sometimes it still gives an "unspecified error" message and the rendering process crashes at roughly the same place in the timeline. The same project renders just fine with the HDV 1080/25p setting (which only are different in that the video size is 1440x1080 while in the Blue Print template it is defined as full 1920x1080).

Can anyone comment on this?
