Print to tape problems!
I am having problems printing to tape. When I watch the footage there are problems with audio and in some cases video. I went back and re-printed to a different tape get it some place else. I am using GL2 and Panasonic tapes. I even tried a different GL2 same problems! I defragged cleaned up the hard drive. Still problems, I am running a Sony Pentium 4 HT 2.3. I have 2 gigs of ram. No idea help!

Are you watching the output as it goes to the camera? Do you see the glitches there? If not, I'd say it's a tape/camera issue. Are you testing the tape in the same camera it was recorded in?

Hello Matt,
in every case make sure that Windows does not start or stop any harddrives during "Print to tape". During this procedure the tape will be rolling - but no data are transferred. So You will get a real big "dropout". Greetings Richard |
