HDV-Whats your workflow?

Posting this in the hope that you early HDV convertors can offer me a little guidance. My Canon XH-A1 is on it's way. I shoot in PAL Widescreen.

What would your workflow be i.e. Film in what mode/framerate etc, capture as? Edit using what file type, Render as? Author as?

Also.....any sign of DVD Architect doing Blu-ray authoring soon? If not....anything else worth investigating at present?

you can shoot in 50i or 25f in PAL and you can download the footage to Vegas from your HDV Tape and can be edited with the Template in the Project Properties set as (HDV 1080-50I).and that will also set your Video Preview to view in the same format.
you can print your project back to your XH-A1 to tape as an HDV and can be renderd as HDV 1080-50I.
As far as DVD Architect doing Blu-ray I thing that will be in the next version( I hope).
