Is it hooked up to a firewire port?
If no, get a firewire card. They're cheap.
If yes, try a different cable.
Also, try hooking it to another (known to be working) computer to verify that the camera's firewire port hasn't been fried.

Hi Mike & Chris,

Mike I do use firewire, I also bought a different cable last night and still no go with Vegas however, I tried the camera with Pinnacle studio 9 and it works good.

Chris I use both Vegas 6c & 7c.

Don't know what else to do?

Thanks
Matthew

Proof positive that using Pinnacle products is dangerous to your equipment's health :-)
