Not sure if this belongs here, or in Premiere thread. I have both Vegas 7 and Premiere Pro 2.0.

I completed a SD project in Premiere Pro 2.0, outputed it to 16:9 widescreen DV .avi file.

I like the GUI in Vegas for converting to Quicktime, so I closed the PPro and imported the resulting .avi file to Vegas, drug it to the time line. Everything seemed okay, until I played from beginning, and before the start of the film I got bits and pieces of the end of the film, followed by the complete film. This does not occur when playing on media player. Anybody know why this might be happening ?

hmmm...I had the same problem trying to play an old mpeg2 file in vegas. i think it's a vegas7 problem because the mpeg2 file would play perfectly in vegas4.
