Vegas vs Film look (greenish tint)
Hey everybody,
#1 Have you notice in the movies (mostly horror or suspens) the image has a slight "greenish tint" but all the original colors are still there, i took some images from a couple of movies to show you exactly what i mean, is there an event FX i can add with vegas that does that? or a color correction that i can modify to obtain such a result? here's the link : http://pic7.piczo.com/evyproductions/?g=8289732&cr=7 #2 Also i was wondering how to make an ouside frame in an irregular shape, in vegas with the "media generator" and in "color gradient" you can add an outside rectangular or elliptical black frame that goes to transparent in the middle, i don't like the look, it's too perfectly organised, is there a way to add two corners and one side with irregular lines? Sorry i'm having a hard time explaining myslef and i don't have any pictures to show you what i mean... hope you understand! |

Donald,
Magic Bullet and Celluloid (from VASST) both easily create the green tint effect, as well as many others. There is a version of Magic Bullet which comes bundled with Vegas which accomplishes this very capably. If you are familiar with Vegas' color correction/color curves effects (built in) you can also do this without any additional plug ins. Brian |
