Well, after further research, it turns out Avid Express will automatically color correct clips, per the settings selected. And one could use NaturalMatch to match two colors between clips. But there's no way to automatically match two or more clips to each other.

I wonder how the results differ from using Vegas' Color Corrector.

Matching colors in Vegas is easy, and while Avid does a reasonable job, I prefer Vegas' method.
Glenn Chan has a new DVD that covers color matching pretty well.
Basically, it's taking the wide shot, using that as your baseline, as most of the colors in the shot are found in the wide shot, then bring everything up to that image, using split screen as your guide.

I went to one of Adobe's open house shows, and Premiere Pro was supposed to offer to match clips. Now, I haven't moved up yet I'm still using 6.2, so I can't verify this.
