Vegas Post/ Vegas Effects?
Hi guys,
Has anyone here bought into this? Looking on the website it looks like they have made a genuine play at the After effects market. Is it any good? Would love to hear some feedback.

Re: Vegas Post/ Vegas Effects?
Yes had a brief look at it. It's been out since about August last year. A basic pseudo AE in some respects. If you own AE I can't see why you would use this. Especially as it appears you can only buy it as part of the Vegas Post suite package at US$999.00. There doesn't appear to a path to buying Effect on its own if you are already a Vegas Pro owner. I do like the fact though that when working in Vegas you can right click on a clip and open it in Effect edit away and when you close Effect it saves and updates your Vegas timeline. A bit like Soundforge does. They should offer it as a stand alone upgrade to existing Vegas Pro owners. Will stay with AE if they don't offer Effect as an upgrade to add it to your existing Vegas install. A lengthy overview from Scrapyard Films.
