Problems related to phantom 4 pro video files and Vegas

1. I filmed a 4K video in mov format.

2. I have tried to convert videos to AVI format in cineform and GoPro studio and both softwares froze.

3. I haven't even gotten to the point of importing video clips to MY Vegas Platinum 9.0 software because they are not avi. Well, I did try importing them without converting and it wouldn't recognize the clips.

Can anyone help me in this process? My Canon 7D mov files convert to avi no problem but hitting a brick wall with the DJI phantom 4 pro video files.

Thank you in advance!
