Re: Magix and Sony Vegas
Roy,
some Vegas users (not all of us, see the relevant "Announcement from Magix" thread) are receiving emails from MAGIX about Vegas and Movie Studio, including the following info. "Movie Studio is entering into a brand new era! Since the acquisition of Movie Studio and other tools from Sony Creative Software, our entire development team in Madison, Wisconsin is working tirelessly to take video editing to the next level. This means that at the end of February 2017, you can look forward to the most advanced Movie Studio yet. The new version will come with exciting new features and a new name: VEGAS Movie Studio. Here's a sneak peek of some of the highlights in the upcoming version: » New video effects » Multi-cam editing » Travel route animation » and much more Stay tuned for more updates and get ready for the all new VEGAS Movie Studio 14! Sincerely, Klaus Schmidt CEO MAGIX Software GmbH" |

Re: Magix and Sony Vegas
Has anyone heard whether the Magicx version of Vegas will still support OpenCL? I bought an expensive video card when I built my computer specifically because of OpenCL support. I have been thinking of using their upgrade offer, but I want to make sure they won't be removing OpenCL from Vegas.
