Has anyone had any success with editing in Resolve. I did some preliminary video viewing of tutorials, and they seem to be moving toward a more intuitive feel like we ve had in Vegas. And, its primary editor is Free.

I worked through a tutorial on Lynda.com and through that I edited a sample project in Resolve. The edit tab feels really clunky compared to Vegas. Just a cross dissolve requires some effort.

I think if I learned editing for the very first time in Resolve, I would like it. I've been on Vegas since 6 and am too comfortable to move from it. Hence, I edit in Vegas (on proxies) and export an XML for a final grade and export in Resolve.
