Auto shutdown DVD Architect 6.0
While Vegas and Architect are pro software they fall behind most consumer versions by not having some simple features such as auto shut down after rendering/burning large projects.
Vegas can auto shutdown if you find a ready made shutdown script (available on the net) which I have used a few times. You have to edit the final files to remove the long files names added by the script. However Architect does not run scripts in the same way as Vegas so has anyone found a way of programming auto shut down? Thanks Andy |

Re: Auto shutdown DVD Architect 6.0
Might not be a help, but I just turn off my monitor and walk away and forget about it. Vegas uses no resources while just sitting there. If your PC is going to continue to run I'm not sure I see the point?
I personally don't see a need for it for me. I would prefer Vegas staying open so I can remember where I'm at in my workflow. I have multiple projects going most times so if Vegas is shutdown I could easily forget where I was at or what I had just done. For one wedding I actually make about 4 videos, the menu video, the long form trailer, and mp4 version, so it makes sense for me for it to stay open.
