CLog in Vegas 13
Hey Everyone. I've been shooting in Clog on the C100 MkII for the last month or so and have had a hard time in Vegas 13 getting the edited file to look like the output file. I'm rendering a 14 Mbps 720p MP4 for use primarily on vimeo and facebook ( I don't really use YouTube) I'm confused about how to set up Vegas to edit Clog if I need to set it up differently. What's happening is a exposure difference from Vegas to the Media Player to Vimeo, etc. rendered files are usually darker. I'm experimenting with 8-bit vs 32 bit floating point and view transform. I don't really understand it and it seems to make the picture go weird. Can anyone help explain or point me in the right direction? I have google and youtube searched btw with no real help.
Thanks. Bill |

Re: CLog in Vegas 13
As a general rule I do brighten up things that I intend to put on Vimeo. I know this is not the detailed answer you seek, but it's what I find necessary to do. Good luck I'm sure someone with more technical knowledge will chime in.
