Noise texture/ media generator issue
I'm trying to add a smoke effect to some footage, and after watching some tutorials I thought I could do it using the Plasma effect from Noise Texture. However, when I try to do it I just get a strange 'venetian blind' effect on the noise texture and clearly defined lines. I've submitted a question to SCS, but just wondered if anyone else has encountered this and if there is a workaround for it?

Re: Noise texture/ media generator issue
I think it is GPU issue. Try to turn off GPU acceleration.

Re: Noise texture/ media generator issue
I tried the effect and it looks okay. Messed with my project settings and different resolutions, etc but the effect stayed the same. GPU acceleration on or off, made no difference.

Re: Noise texture/ media generator issue
Fantastic - thanks Juris, I had not considered turning off GPU acceleration, but after doing so it has corrected the problem.
