How to import SRT and render as hard-coded subtitles?
Hey guys,
I have Sony Vegas Pro 13. I have a video file and a corresponding SRT file with subtitles. The video file is final and will not be edited. I want to somehow import the SRT file into Vegas in order to generate subtitles using the SRT data. Can this be done natively in Vegas? Or do I need some sort of 3rd party plugin for this task? I did a bit of searching and so far could only find a plug-in to do this, but only found a 3rd party plugin that supposedly does this. Ultimately, I will want to have these subtitles hardcoded into the rendered video. I don't need them as optional subtitles or closed captions that you can turn on or off. Please let me know the best way to do this. Thanks! |

Never mind.
I contacted Sony and they said Vegas doesn't have that capability, but did in fact suggest the same plugin I read about - Vegasaur (if anyone's interested). Thanks! |
