Deleting HITFILM empty folders from plugins list
Once upon a time, I downloaded the trial version of the HitFilm Plugins and deleted them once I'd finished taking a look.
Now, although the plugins don't show up in the Effects or Transitions window, a load of empty HitFilm folders show up in the plug-in chooser window (see attached image) Anyone know how I can get rid of them? (I also now have a full, non-trial version of HitFilm Ultimate 2 due to the Vegas 13 upgrade but I presume that's irrelevant since its effects are not part of Vegas in the way that the plugins are) Regards David

Re: Deleting HITFILM empty folders from plugins list
Try deleting
plugin_manager_cache.bin and svfx_plugin_cache.bin in the AppData folder users/"username"/AppData/Local/Sony/VegasPro/13.0 I have seen newly (un)installed items not show up in one of the plug-in lists and deleting these cache files causes Vegas to rebuild the files the next time you start Vegas and that cleaned things up for me. |

Excellent, thank you. I'll give that a try.
