What are you syncing about?

Sorry guys if this has been already covered, can't find the solution,
i am syncing two C100s in Vegas pro, free run and it work perfectly, better than pluraleyes, pluraleyes still makes some mistakes, but the thing is - Vegas makes a separate tracks for every clip,
just for testing i shot 2 cameras 8 clips sequence and they are getting perfectly synced on 16 audio\video tracks :(
what am I going to do with 300 clips, have 600 tracks?
please help!

Re: What are you syncing about?

Nope. If you did that you'd probably want to kill yourself or give me the cameras. ;-)
Set up 2 tracks, video and audio. There are several ways to do this now, but if it were me, I'd open up the explorer highlight the clips I want on track 1 move them to the track. Go back and grab the clips for track 2. NOW you might want Plural eyes or sync as you go using the waveform.

Re: What are you syncing about?

I wish this was that easy :)
nothing works, Vegas keeps creating new tracks for every clip,
but thank you;

Re: What are you syncing about?

Buba,
Not sure why this is going on but perhaps after you drop a new clip in, you could highlite it and move it to a track just for the clips from that camera then do the same for the other camera. A PITA for sure but that might be the only way to work.
I just don't get why it's not working the other way. I've been doing it that way since I got on Vegas back with version 2. Maybe it's something in preferences? Not sure, but maybe?!

Re: What are you syncing about?

OK That makes sense. Well mostly...as long as it works that's cool.
Good luck.

Re: What are you syncing about?

new problem:)
Vegas Pro recognizes free run time code from canon C100s,but not from GH4, it tells me 'Some media did not have valid offset information and were skipped"
Anybody knows how to make Vegas read GH4 time code, or mi will have to go back o plural eyes, or try PP?
thanks!
