preview window not showing effects changes
Hi - this is probably really silly,
but I did something and I don't know how to undo it. I'm using Vegas Pro 12.0 build 714 I hit something on the desktop and suddenly I had 2 video tracks where before I had one. Now it was an "A" track and a "B" track. And it wasn't showing me my effects anymore. So started clicking around to see if I could undo it, and it the process I messed up the video preview window. I've been doing some color correction,, and I was looking at my preview window and it was showing me the changes as I dragged the button around the colors were changing quite nicely. But after my split/track fiasco, I managed to mess up the video preview so that it doesn't show any changes that I make. thanks in advance for any thoughts. |

Re: preview window not showing effects changes
I knew I was an idiot. I figured out that if I clicked on the split screen "moon" - it suddenly shows all the effects again.
Thanks anyway! Milt |

Re: preview window not showing effects changes
Milt, it's actually a really useful feature. Please do check the help file and see how it works. I often use it in "Left" or "Right" half mode which shows me the unaffected video compared to the modified video. Using the "Clipboard" mode also helps color correct two clips to match.
It's also been mentioned here many times as well: http://www.dvinfo.net/forum/what-hap...-i-render.html http://www.dvinfo.net/forum/what-hap...t-working.html
