Vegas 12 Stabilizer

I have a one off need for a stabilizer for an older SD large project with shaky footage. I've never had good results using the stabilizer in Vegas 11 and 12, but I'm wondering if anyone has found a technique with the Vegas stabilizer that gives acceptable results. My material is not excessively shaky. Thanks.

Re: Vegas 12 Stabilizer

When you stabilize it does the whole clip, even if you've cut it as you have to add it to the media FX.

I found the best way is to right click the clip you want to fix and select "Create sublip" then apply your stabilization to this one clip. Quicker and also means its not basing the movement on the whole file, just the little clip.

Then use the minimal settings preset. Works well enough.
