Uncompressed Quicktime files
I'm using Vegas 10 and need to produce an uncompressed QuickTime file. QuickTime 7 is compressed - correct? Suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Re: Uncompressed Quicktime files
"Quicktime" (mov) is not anything but a holder. It's what you put in that holder that counts and that can be many different things including uncompressed.
When you go to render, select MOV (Quicktime) as the desired output holder. Then click on the "Template" dropdown. The first entry listed is "Default Template (Uncompressed)".

Re: Uncompressed Quicktime files
Ed, Thanks for the quick reply. I don't see the option for uncompressed in the drop down menu.

Re: Uncompressed Quicktime files
I just looked in VP10 and I'm seeing it there too. However, just click on "Custom..." and then on the "Video Format" dropdown, choose "None".
