Vegas render issue... thoughts?
Hi All, I'm finishing an edit for a client for the web - I've rendered it up as a AVC/AAC MP4 in 1080p PAL.
My problem is that the rendered video does not look smooth - like frames are dropping or something! Any thoughts what I should do to make the video look smoother? All thoughts appreciated! Ian |

Re: Vegas render issue... thoughts?
Hi Ian
To me it looks like all the transitions are too fast but the cuts are too slow so you end up with the jumping from scene to scene?? Just to clear any other doubts what is your source video properties, what have you set in project properties ... you might have an issue in those settings. Now based on the location you seem to have shot this in PAL so did you render it to 1280x720 as 25P or 30P ...if you went to 30P then Vegas would have to add any extra 5 frames for every second of video. All web based clips I make shot in 50i or 50p I always render to 25P for online not 30P Post all your settings and let some experts work it out for you (assuming the edited file plays well straight of the timeline with no jumps?)
