No sound when playing .avc file?
Just finished render a 5-minute video, using Vegas Pro 12. I used the Sony AVC template, the file is .mp4. Playing with Windows Media Player, video is fine, but no audio. Any idea why?
Thanks, |

Re: No sound when playing .avc file?
Upon closer inspection, the "Include Audio" check box (under the Audio tab) in the Main Concept AVC template is grayed out, the box is not selectable. That's weird. How do I activate that tab? Please see the attached screenshot.

You can not have the audio, if you have chosen Blu-ray 1920x1080-60i, 25 Mbps video stream

Re: No sound when playing .avc file?
Thanks Juris,
I will render a separate audio stream. When I used Vegas Pro 8, Main Concept AVC and Sony AVC both allow audio and video together, that's what threw me off. Now I know Vegas 12 likes them separate. |
