Help slow motion of 25p footage
Hi guys,
We had a shoot yesterday and I was to capture some moving shots, which I did. Only this morning did I realise that these shots would have been great in slow motion, and at full speed they probably won't be usable. My Sony Nex 5n has the capability to shoot at 50p, but very stupidly I've only shot this footage at 1080 25p!! I'm quite annoyed at myself for only realising this this morning. What software (if any) is available to help me to play this footage back at 50% without it looking jerky? I was looking into Twixtor but for this one off scenario its a bit pricey. Is there anything else that can be used to help slow this footage down? Thanks in advance! Rich |

Re: Help slow motion of 25p footage
Anyone know the difference in versions? Looks like they have a standard and pro version for Adobe, and only one version for Vegas. Most of my plugins will work on both platforms but looks like you have to choose one program only for Twixtor. Seems to work well, I like it.

Re: Help slow motion of 25p footage
For getting good results with Twixtor you have to have recorded in 50fps or 60fps...
Twixtor will not get any good results with 25fps video. I would test it before I buy it anyway.. |

60i looked smooth as silk. My 1080 30p clips still had ghosting.

Hi guys,
I got and tested twixtor and it looks good, even with 25p recorded footage. Thanks, Rich |
