Vegas vertical screen slider action...

Several times when I've gone to move down the screen by clicking and draging the slider bar on the far right of the Vegas screen, all my tracks minimise...which is a pain. I think once...maybe...they all maximized, but can't be sure on that one. They have definitely minimised several times...

Is this intended to happen, or is it a glitch?

May be You accidentally used keyboard shortcut ("`") to minimise all tracks?

If you doulbe-click the up/down slider, it will minimize all tracks. If you double-click it again, they will be restored. In short, it's a feature.

Ren if you hold down the "Shift" key your mouse wheel will vertical scroll instead of zoom.

Thanks Nic...These sort of ideas are going to be a real help over the next few months. I have a huge amount of editing to do, with lots of compositing. Up until now my editing has been spasmodic...in bursts...mostly small projects, but this one is big [for me] so I'll be learning heaps I imagine. Have already found that rendering out to a new track short bits that have lots of compositing, is a great idea and have had no render crashes since doing it. A lot of the time so far spent on the first 12 minute episode has enabled me to work out a raft of ways of doing things, though its time consuming...hours to produce a 10>15 sec sequence for example. Other episodes are up to 30 minutes so I need to have systems worked out for them...

On the screen shot I posted on another thread, I discovered after I posted that I had used the wrong angle for the pic in pic...I had thought it looked a bit steep...knocked it back from 51 to 39 degrees...looks better...
