Fixed a crash that could occur when Windows pen extensions are enabled (touchscreen or Wacom driver installed).
Fixed a crash that could occur when using the Auto correct button in the Stereoscopic 3D Adjust effect.
Fixed a crash that could occur when opening an MXF file with more than 16 audio channels.

Fixed a crash that could occur when using Split Screen View in the Video Preview with the clipboard as the other source.

Fixed an issue that could cause CD Audio disc burns to have just some audio and then silence if you switched away from the application during the burn.
Fixed an issue that could cause silence or flatline waveforms with certain AVC/AAC source files.
Fixed incorrect output that could occur when GPU processing is not enabled and the Blur amount is greater than zero in the Chroma Keyer effect.
Fixed an issue that could duplicate Media FX if reloading a project that is already open.
Fixed a small image shift that could occur when Track Motion is used and the project is rendered to a different format.
Fixed an artifact that could occur when Lens Flare is used in a 32-bit floating-point project.
Fixed an issue with embedded closed captioning information in rendered MXF files.
Fixed an issue reading some MPO files.
Fixed a hang that could occur when using the playhead scrubber with iZotope VST effects as Event FX.
Fixed an issue that could make the playhead scrubbing nonfunctional after a render.
Fixed a hang that could occur when rendering when a pan/crop rectangle is moved completely off an image.
Fixed an issue that could cause a media relink dialog to appear again even if you relinked and saved last time you opened.
Reduced memory requirements of GPU-accelerated Radial Blur, which improves performance and stability.
Fixed an issue that prevented the Color Corrector and Color Corrector (Secondary) color wheels from appearing when not using the Vegas color scheme.
Fixed an issue switching to the Custom tab in Color Corrector, Color Corrector (Secondary) or with using Color Curves or Gradient Map effects.
Fixed an issue that could prevent numeric fields from allowing data entry in Color Corrector and Color Corrector (Secondary).
Fixed an issue that could cause certain third-party video effects to appear twice in the Video FX window list.
Fixed YouTube 3D uploads by adjusting the method used for 3D flagging (after YouTube changed their server).
Enabled creating a Blu-ray Disc image file even if you don’t have a compatible drive to burn it.

Re: Build 700/701 released for Pro 11

Thanks Mike.

I am very happy to see that there was a duplicated fx issue. This has had me believing I was going mad!

It's interesting to see so many 'fixed a crash/hang' bug fixes, and especially 'Fixed an issue that should result in improved overall stability' . I have been somewhat niggled by one or two people who emphatically state that crashes MUST be a problem with the PC and suggest that it is naive to believe that a point release will 'magically fix your PC'.

I'm not at all knowledgeable about software development and coding, so I have bitten my tongue, but it always struck me as odd that Vegas 11 was the only app on my pc that crashed almost on a per session basis.

Whether this release does actually solve or reduce those problems remains to be seen, of course. I'm back at my desk after a couple of difficult weeks so the next few days should see me putting it through its paces while I catch up on projects.

Downloading. I'm sure it will be better than the current version, as mine crashes all the time I can only imagine it will be.

Re: Build 700/701 released for Pro 11

I only installed this update on a secondary PC and results did not bode well.. it crashed when asked to render every time!!!...on a project which rendered fine before !!!

so be careful is my advice so far...

I am hesitating to put on my main PC for now.

Re: Build 700/701 released for Pro 11

FWIW, I installed it yesterday and just finished a render of video ripped from a DVD to MP4. Didn't have any issues. I don't know about performance as I rarely do this and it was a homemade DVD so I don't know exactly how long it was.

I've installed the 32bit version of the update on my laptop and desktop PCs without any issues. Have opened and edited previous projects successfully and without any crashes.

No improvement still randomly crashes on my side, Vegas 12 is no better.

Re: Build 700/701 released for Pro 11

Just tried installing this update.I got an error message and it wouldn't let me complete the upgrade. Cancelled out if it and went to reopen Vegas - it had deleted my copy of Vegas 11 and won't let me reinstall. In case you are wondering - it's a fully paif for version of Vegas. I'm fuming now - I've had to install Vegas 12 just so I can complete a project for a client today.

Re: Build 700/701 released for Pro 11

What kind of error message did you get?

You might try rebooting before trying to reinstall because, if you had not rebooted the first time, Vegas could have still been running in the background which could certainly cause issues.

Re: Build 700/701 released for Pro 11

Just downloaded new update and Vegas no longer recognized .mp3. Can't render to .mp3 either.

Edit - Deleting Vegas 11 and reinstalling version 634 corrected this issue. I can now edit and render to .mp3 again.
