I can't edit anymore .mov files from Nikons in Sv10
Guys, Great friends of mine,
I'm really in trouble as i can't edit as usual my . Mov files from dslrs! If i open em on The trimmer, the preview is really slow and not accurate at All! Even on the main preview Window i Have the same issue! How come? They Have Always worked fine! Strange thing: i don 't Have this kind of issue with m2t files but Just with Dslrs videos! Running SV10 on my xp 32 bit Dell m6300 with Xtreme x9000 and 4 gb of RAM ! Really apreciate All kind of helping hands to get rid of this issue Mm |

May be a Quicktime conflict. Vegas has an internal H.264 decoder that is much faster than Quicktime (which is usually the source of slowdowns editing)
If your MOV says H.264 as the video codec, you're using the Quicktime plugin. If it says AVC, you're using the Sony internal H.264 decoding. It may also be worthwhile to check your Dynamic RAM and Rendering Thread numbers. Try setting the Dynamic RAM to 0 and your rendering threads to the amount of cores on your computer (Defaults to 16, 8 for Hyperthreaded Quad-core, 4 for standard quad core) |
