Re: particleIllusion for Sony Vegas

Have been playing with the trial version. Very impressive - except that I can't get the effects to overlay on any media, be it video or stills. Against a black background it's fine. I've tried all settings of Alpha channels, but no luck...

Robin in the settings under 'Emitters' is the option 'Composite' set that to 'Over background'.

Re: particleIllusion for Sony Vegas

Hi Nicholas,
Yes, I've seen and tried all the settings and still nothing works. Mind you, I'm still having the same problem with NewBlue Titler Pro: not being able to render out, even though PC and graphic card are both up to spec...
I might download the Standalone version of ParticleIllusion and see if that works.

Re: particleIllusion for Sony Vegas

Well, finally managed to solve both problems - ParticleIllusion and NewBlue Titler Pro.
I checked the properties settings for Vegas Pro and saw that I had opted to run application as Administrator. I reverted to the normal mode and then everything worked! Don't ask me what difference it should make, but I'm happy again...
