So, what's the status of DNxHD and Vegas Pro 11?
Got myself a HyperStudio and it wraps DNxHD in MXF or MOV.
I'd appreciate for any insights in DNxHD workflow in Vegas Can Vegas Pro deal with MXF wrapper for DNxHD or is it all MOV container? How does Vegas behave on DNxHD? Psycopathic or happy lucky puppy? Any point in transcoding to something... else? Which QT version are you running? Thanks, Magnus

Re: So, what's the status of DNxHD and Vegas Pro 11?
If you install the codec DNxHD works as a Mov just fine, in fact it's ability to tag as a REC.709 gives it some advantages when it comes to an output codec. Be sure you are using the latest version of 11, several bugs have been squashed. Latest ver of QT7.7.1 runs without issue. Sony likes it's own flavor of MXF.

Thanks Roy, it does seem as if Sony with the latest build have stabilized v11 to the point of "useful".
Thank you for your insights - if I understand correctly the QT-container makes it possible to colour manage against a screen profile and possibly an encoder. That is good. /magnus
