Cancel burn in DVDA

Anyone got any ideas as to why cancelling a render/burn in DVDA takes so long?

I just had a situation where the lead-in burn got stuck (for about 15 minutes - normally takes less than one minute) so I figured it might be a bad disk (although I use Taiyo Yuden DVD-R47's and I find them to be outstandingly reliable). I cancelled the burn so I could try again. That was over ten minutes ago and it is STILL canceling! How long is 'a few minutes', as the warning message states?

The AUDIO_TS and VIDEO_TS structure are both complete in my render directory so I was just going to burn the DVD using Win 7's built-in tools, but I'm nervous about doing that while the cancel process is ongoing in DVDA.

Any thoughts?
