If you could help please

Hi everyone,
Every time I upload my video from my camera to PC using sony vegas pro 10 I have about half a second of corrupted or freezed image at the end of each file...So when I edit I have to pull back half a second of every clip on timeline....(
Why is this?

I very vaguely remember reading about this problem but it's been a year or more since I've seen it mentioned.
If these are HDV files, try using HDVSplit (it's free) to do your captures and see if solves your problem.
