V11...Asking for a refund

Never done this before and have stuck with Vegas for several years, but this version for my use is unacceptable due to not recognizing plugins that have worked in all previous versions.

I don't know if I'm in the majority or minority, but including broadcast quality audio in my productions is a standard I refuse to compromise on. Previous versions of Vegas have conflicted with UAD audio plugs, but there were workarounds. With version 11 crashing using Sonnox effects (a Sony product), I'm left with the standard Vegas effects which aren't good enough, especially for mastering final audio tracks and controlling output levels.

So if Sony can't resolve this by Monday, I'll go back to V10 and get a refund.

Re: V11...Asking for a refund

So after several e-mails with no response, I called customer support and got through to the lead tech for Vegas. Turns out V11 crashes from plugins that use an i-lok which includes Sonnox, Waves and others. He said the bug is known and that the upcoming update will include a fix.

I have. It's worked fine in every version except the new one. Per the tech this is a problem specific to V11.
