Vegas 9 Problem accessing network computers
I've been having an annoying problem with vegas 9 that has been bugging me for a while. There are two computers on a network that are both used for editing. All the hard drives are shared so that one computer can access the files on the other. The files are normally accessed in vegas via that explorer window. Network>entire network>microsoft windows network>computer name. You will be editing and able to see the other computer on the network, then all of the sudden, you won't be able to see the other computer in the vegas explorer window. You can refresh the explorer window in vegas, but it doesn't help. If you open my computer, you can still see the other computer(and can drag and drop into vegas). It seems that the only solution is to restart the other computer(not the one being used to edit, but the one across the network). This is a problem when someone is trying to use the other computer. I feel like there has got to be a way to get vegas to recognize the other computer without having to restart. Has anyone else ran into this issue and figured out a solution? I appreciate any help or ideas you may have.
Thanks,
-Dylan
