Jeff., Unfortunately I can't find Autoplay anywhere in the control panel in XP. I think my LG rewriter burner is faulty as it won't read Blu-ray discs or Standard DVD discs. It won't play them in Windows or Power DVD. No content details are shown in windows explorer. The only time it reads is when I'm burning a DVD or Blu-ray using DVDA, when I don't want it to. This is the first time I've ever tried to read them since I've had the burner. It might of been faulty when purchased. Ah well that's life. I'll make sure I'll put any new purchase through it's paces as soon as it's installed. Regards Roy

Roy, autoplay is a windows tool, you have it, you just need to find it and turn if off. Good luck. Try using windows help and see if it steers you there.
