is rendering X10 times the lenght normal with MBL?
yesterday I was rendering to QuickTime uncompressed format a 4 minutes project of short clips shot with my Canon HFG10 (24Mbps 1080 25p) and graded with MBL in black and white. I also added a couple of fade in/outs and a couple of titles.
it took a good 50 minutes!!! is this normal? I mean more than 10 times the length!!! ps. I was using Vegas 11 64 bit thanks Fed |

MB has crushing render times, so it's probably normal.

MB is horribly slow.
When I used it in the past with Avid Liquid it was in that same range of performance.

I quit MB a couple of years ago for this very reason. Nice effects, nice plug in, but crazy render times, horrible preview performance.
