Re: Rendering in Vegas Pro 11

Anyone had this yet?
One long clip, 1080p Cineform, cut down to four events,
create regions at events.
Batch render,
render regions.
So far its written the first region 3 times, numbered 0,1,and 2, but all the first event.
Event/region 2 is written twice, but with different files sizes (just a cpl of kb diff).
Event/region 3 is written twice as well but identical file size.
Number 4 is doing second one now.

Grabbed a GTX 560Ti this morning,
it is prob going twice as fast, but its writing everything twice!!! LOL
Glad im not on a deadline this week :)

I was getting the same error. Was able to render by customizing render template and changing encode mode to CPU only.

I'm guessing it has to do with my AMD video card. I'm thinking of updating to the GEFORCE GTX570.

Interesting, changing to CPU only. I couldn't render to 720p, but next time I will try your trick.

I'm in the same boat. AMD video card, won't render Mp4. CPU only works fine. Is there a reason?

The render probably uses CUDA. The sections of the software that use OpenCL will work with just about any GPU (assuming you have the right OpenCL driver installed). But the sections that use CUDA will only work with the supported NVIDIA cards.

Within time these problem will be solved, with an update.

Give it some time...
