Media Stabilizer crashing in Sony Vegas Pro 10??!! at DVinfo.net

Hey Guys...I am trying to stablize some shaky camera work. One from a Canon 60D and the other an HVX200 - P2.

The Media Stabilizer for the 60D footage works sometimes and other times it blows the image up (magnifies) beyond practical use. Would like to figure this out too.

The P2 footage crashes my system every time. Tried stabilizing using the clip in a new timeline - CRASH. Tried stabilizing using the clip without the audio attached - CRASH. Tried stripping any effects from it and stabilizing - CRASH. It's like it is telling me it no likey the codec, but it ingested and works fine on the timeline with effects - just not the stabilizer :-(

I am running Win 7 64bit, Vegas Pro 10, i7-975 with 16gb DDR3 mem and a GTX 570 with 2.5GB mem onboard.

Any ideas??? As usual I am humbled by your willingness to help out, so thank you!
